A Masterpiece

To be honest, I can think of no finer example of fresco artwork. Once a private chapel and attached to a much larger building, the remaining chapel must be seen if you are in the area. Unfortunately, part of the work was damaged, but the ongoing restoration work allows visitors a much better understanding of the processes behind fresco painting. Visitors are expected not to dawdle, as movement of visitors is carefully screened and managed to prevent crowding and accidental damage to the paintings.
