Listed under Windsurfing in Namibia.
This area has changeable weather conditions but the long gently shelving sandy beaches and uninterrupted winds that come in off the ocean provide some long left to right straights perfect for speedsailing. To really get close to record times you need a straight at least as long as the record, and this is a great place to train for the mile record. When the water is flat you can get wind speeds in excess of thirty knots.
