The blue whales are the largest animal ever to inhabit the earth - larger than even the biggest dinosaur! Seeing dozens of them feeding in the waters of the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary in the Santa Barbara Channel in California was amazing. They came right along side the boat like they were checking us out.
