Iguazu Falls stretches 3 kms on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Taller than Niagara Falls, and four times as wide with 275 cascades spread in a horsehoe shape over nearly two miles of the Iguazu River, the Iguazu Falls churn up over 450,000 cubic feet of water per second in the rainy season, between December and February. Out of season it can be far less impressive.

The best views of Iguazu Falls are to be had from the Brazilian side, though you can get closer to the Falls - if you can handle the deafening thunderous noise - on the Argentine side. The semi-circular Devil's Throat is the most impressive section.
