The Heaphy Walking Track

Set in Kahurangi National Park, the Heaphy Track takes anywhere from four to six days to get through, depending on your pace. On this track you can expect to see rocks that are half a billion years old, loads of indigenous tree and flower species, and a variety of wildlife. Campsites and huts between two and five hour intervals as you make your way along the track.
