Listed under Volcanoes in Spain.
Teide is part of a National Park and has a public road running across it's caldera, allowing visitors easy access to within about 250 metres of the summit. You can also ride most of the way up it in a cable car. To go to the very top you need a permit, but it's free. It's pretty exciting to get close to because Pico del Teide frequently spurts sulphurous gasses from vents near the summit.
