The Tennessee Aquarium is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is home to the largest freshwater aquarium in the world and includes more than 12,000 animals in all. Some of the species include amphibians, birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals, plants, reptiles and butterflies.

Some other attractions include the IMAX Movie Theater, River Gorge Explorer and Backstage Pass. The aquarium is a great day trip to entertain the family. See exotic species from the deep.

The aquarium is open every day from 10am-8pm. Last admittance is 6pm. The aquarium and IMAX Theater are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas day. The ticketing center opens at 9:30.
