What’s the time? Perhaps you should glance up at The Anchor Clock. This novel attraction connects the two parts of one of the city's insurance companies by bridge. It is decorated with mosaic ornaments throughout. On top of the bridge rests the large clock that has 12 historical figures that travel across the bridge at each hour. Some of these figures include the Empress Maria Theresa and Prince Eugen of Savoya. At noon, all twelve figures come out at the same time while music plays from each of their respective time periods, brightening up the day of business workers and visitors alike.*BR*The clock was built between 1911 and 1917 and is located on Vienna's oldest city square, Hoher Markt.
