See the city by Segway. These two-wheeled tours are becoming increasingly popular in San Francisco. Given the city’s reputation for its rolling hills, one does not have to wonder why that is. Cruise along the bay while a trained guide highlights the area’s most famed features and hidden treasures.

These tours have the benefits of a walking tour with the speed you might get on a hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Multiple tour providers operate in San Francisco. Though each operator has different policies, most require participants take a basic Segway training course before the tour. These tours are suitable for singles, couples and families alike, though children must be 12-years and older. Thanks to the green technology, these Segways are an eco-friendly sightseeing option.
