Here's something you can do when your plane gets delayed at the Salzburg Airport- go visit Red Bull Hangar 7. Essentially this attraction, which is a rather popular thing for tourists to see, is a massive glass dome that houses Dietrich Mateschitz, owner of Red Bull's collection of planes and motor vehicles. Mateschitz had this made in 2003 because his former hangar was no longer big enough to fit all of his “toys” in. The 1,754 pieces of glass were all custom made in China and no two are the same, yet they all perfectly fit together creating a very fun and unique design. It covers 39,800 sq ft of land and regularly also hosts art exhibits, concerts, and of course, the Red Bull aeroplane fleet. Oh and visiting this billionaire's playhouse is free!
