More about the woman than her politics the Eva Peron Museum tells Evita’s own story from her childhood and her years working as an actress to her rise to First Lady and her political push for equal rights for women. Articles, broadcast material and Eva’s own possessions make up the collection, one of the most popular elements is her wardrobe of chic clothes and accessories.

The Museum was launched on the 50th anniversary of Evita’s death by her great-niece Christina Alvarez Rodriguez in a house formerly used by the Eva Peron Foundation to house women moving from the country into the city. It has thirteen exhibit rooms and one room hosting temporary exhibitions.
