This restored gristmill/sawmill is the muse for many photographs and paintings rightfully so. It is a picturesque little wooden building by a small body of water. The Mabry Mill was built in 1910 and was originally used as a blacksmith and wheelwright shop and then became a sawmill. It was then turned into a gristmill before it was even finished construction in 1905.

Visitors now can see demonstrations of crafts being made as well as gristmilling, sawmilling, blacksmith work and more, during peak seasons by the National Park Service Volunteers here. There is also a restaurant and gift shop here. The Mabry Mill is a great place to spend time out doors such as hiking, picnicking or just strolling around the area.
