Lego – the greatest game that never worked for me. No matter how hard I tried nothing ever came to fruition, while my cousin (ok he was ten years older) was creating articulated lorries that actually turned and moved. With a strong presence in every young life, Legoland was always going to be successful, so successful in fact that there are now five parks across across Europe and North America. Legoland Windsor was the second park to be built (the first being in Lego's native land of Denmark) and is but a short distance from Windsor Castle.

Primarily aimed at children between two and twelve, the park has a charm for many adults, bringing back all those memories of playing with the little bricks. The rides won't particularly engage the older members of the family, but the younger ones will find it thrilling and Lego Mini-land will impress you with the craft of recreating famous landmarks with Lego bricks. Attractions and shows change depending on whatever new toy or marketing idea Lego is running with, but are always engaging for a child and activities such as the driving school will really entertain them.
