Capturing Colorado’s wild-wild-west feel and famed history, Ghost Town Musuem has the feel of a country western film set. The museum commemorates and preserves the idea of ghost towns – once booming but quickly deserted towns. The towns have become icons of the United States’ early westward expansion.

Today you can get an idea of what these towns were like through in-depth, interactive activities at Ghost Town Museum. Practice your best cowboy stroll as you walk along the boardwalk from the blacksmith’s shop to the saloon, stable, Victorian Home and other popular stops. Along the way, you will find countless authentic artifacts. Add excitement to your trip with a stop at the old-fashioned arcade or try your hand at gold panning.
