One of the most well-preserved destinations for historical enthusiasts, Colonial Williamsburg offers many interactive learning opportunities through a variety of museums, historic homes, and activities.

Enjoy a meal in a period tavern, often featuring entertainment in the form of a jovial re-enactor. Visit historic shops, not only for the unique goods sold, but also to learn about the many trades illustrated by employees. Stay in a charming bed and breakfast, or just have a chat with one of the in-costume volunteers.

Colonial Williamsburg is a wonderful destination, not only for the vibrant history it exhibits, but also for the charming atmosphere it exudes. Even the most reluctant of students will find themselves intrigued by the notable displays of colonial pageantry.

There is plenty to see and do in the Colonial Willamsburg area. Some activities include dining, shopping, spas, hotels, golf, museums, exhibits, parades, tours, theater and many more. There are also 2 surrounding historic towns that make up a colonial triangle including Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Colonial Williamsburg is open 365 days a year and has something to do all year round. There are plenty of activities to keep all age ranges entertained. Enjoy watching history meet the present through many delightful activities set in a colonial setting.
