The Cliff Walk is located in Newport, Rhode Island and overlooks the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean. The trail is 3.5 miles long and runs through some of the most famous mansions including Astor's Beechwood, The Breakers, Marble House and more.

When walking the Cliff Walk you will also encounter the wildlife of Rhode Island including birds, flowers and rock formations. The first half of the walk, the northern half, is an easy walk while the southern half is a little more natural as you walk along the shoreline. Walking shoes are a must for this part of the walk.

The walk is one of the top attractions in Rhode Island and is a large visitors attraction. If you wish to walk here during the least crowded season, go during the winter. Listen for the sounds of water meeting the rocks while taking in the breathtaking sights.
