Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of Vancouver, British Columbia's most popular tourist attractions, set within the beautiful Capilano Park. Vancouver's oldest attraction, it was originally built in 1889, spans 450 feet (137m) across and stretches 230 feet (70m) above the Capilano River. Since then much has been added to the twenty-seven acre park. Treetops Adventure is the park’s latest upgrade and is a spectacular series of suspension bridges through the evergreens that takes you 100ft above the forest floor, giving you a different perspective of the forests to say the least.

Other things to do in the park include the guided nature tours, the kid’s rainforest explorer program and the living forest exhibit. All of these give a great insight into the workings of the forest. There are also the totem poles to admire made in the 1930s by First Nations people, and music and entertainment to be enjoyed from their descendants.
