Rittenhouse Square is located in Center City, Philadelphia. It is one of the most expensive places to live in the United States with good reason. The street is located around an open park and near to the shopping streets of Walnut, Market and Locust.

Rittenhouse Square was named after David Rittenhouse an astronomer-clockmaker from 18th century Philadelphia. Today such occupants as luxury apartments, expensive restaurants, a five-star hotel, Barnes & Noble and high rise residences are located at Rittenhouse Square.
