Some of L.A.'s oldest buildings are within this culturally diverse area. Although there are many cultures that have shaped this community, the Latino culture is a predominant influence. Visit the famous Olvera Street and get a taste of great Mexican restaurants and shops. There are also many museums in this area to celebrate the many different cultures such as Avila Adobe, the Chinese American Museum, and the Italian Hall Museum.
