On Santorini you want to stay in something with smooth, rounded white walls and delicious views, as well as something private with a pool (or kidney shaped hydro massage pool with a jacuzzi in this case), and within a few minutes walk of the beach, and this villa is all that and more wrapped up in a windmill shaped package. Complete with sails, augmented by views over Ios, Naxos and Amorgos, an espresso machine, private sun terrace and a kitchen garden brimming over with figs, tomatoes and cucumbers, this villa is just the ticket for honeymooners and steamy romancers – but it does sleep four if you want to bring the kids, or share with another couple. It's also set in 1,500sq metres of ecological estate, which rolls gently down the hillside to a sandy beach and the sea only a few hundred metres away.
