Whether delicious, smooth Cohibas or iconic Montecristos are your thing, a cigar tour in Cuba will allow you to try as many different Cuban cigars as you can possibly manage, and learn about how Cuba's cigar-making heritage came about. Many locally-run tours will provide the opportunity to spend an afternoon in a cigar factory to see the world's best cigars being hand-rolled, to meet with a tobacco grower and to explore the famous haunts of great cigar smokers such as Ernest Hemingway and Che Guevara. The iconic Hotel Nacional and other famous locations are included in most tours, as are the beautiful tobacco plantations and not a little Havana rum.

A elector or reader was always employed to entertain the cigar factory <a href="http://www.solocigars.com">Cuban Cigars</a> workers. This practice became obsolete once audio books for portable players became available, but it is still practiced in some Cuban factories.
