The Vidawa Forests are a wilderness in the heart of Taveuni Island. A network of dense forestry guarding from the blazing sun and rainy seasons. The Vidawa trail through the muddy forest takes you to the historic Navuga site, which dates back to the country’s days of cannibalism and pagan traditions.

Among the medicinal plants and giant trees you can hear the high pitched single-note call of the Orange Dove and other rare birds.
