The Larapinta Trail is fast becoming one of Australia's favorite treks - for good reason! Stretching over 223 kms from just outside Alice Springs to Mount Sonder in West MacDonnell National Park, the Larapinta Trail offers everything from stunning views from high ridges, magnificent gorges and canyons and extraordinary diversity of habitats. The trail is divided in to 12 stages, although all are not equal. Some stages are more accessible and others are long and remote. Trekkers can go for just a day or up to 21 days. Many trekkers choose to join guided, 4WD supported trekking holidays. There are 3 day, 7 day and 14 day options.
