If you love plants, pots and patios then the Cordoba Flower Festival or El Festival de los Patios Cordobeses is the place to be. Wander the cobbled narrow back streets and see the private patios that are open for the annual competition.
From posh houses to back street Moorish homes with internal patio and still working wells. It’s a rich feast of colour and design. Normally taking place the second week in May. Get a map from the Tourist Office and track down the thirty or so patios on view.
Don’t forget to sample a beer and tapas on route and you’ll definitely need a few days to explore the rest of Cordoba.
