Ronda’s history is unparalleled throughout Spain. It has been inhabited since the Paleolithic age, and ancient people certainly left their marks with well-preserved cave paintings and grand ancient structures. Throughout the centuries, impressive monuments have been erected throughout the town, as have a good deal of churches. Many unique museums exist in Ronda as well, including the Wine Museum and the Bullfighting Museum. As if all that wouldn’t take up enough time, nature enthusiasts can find lots of parks just outside of town, including UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Sierra de la Nievas Natural Park.
