Bellagio’s Lake Como is known as a trendy hot spot for the moneyed and famous, but there are lots of activities for your Average Joe to enjoy there as well. Mountain biking, horse riding, hiking, and paragliding are favourite sports around the mountain town, and diving, windsurfing, and water-skiing on the lake are also available. Stately villas and churches, centuries old, add to the town’s ambience, as do the magnificent views. In addition to the grand deluxe 5 star properties, there are a number of more modest but still charming lake-side hotels to choose from.
