The loyalty between a dog and his owner is second to none. This bond is no better illustrated than at the Key Underwood Coon Dog Cemetery, located just outside Tuscumbia, Alabama. It was here in 1937 that Key Underwood laid to rest his beloved coon dog, Troop, in what was a popular hunting camp knowing there was no place in the world Troop loved more.

Since that day, over 185 coon dogs from around the country have been laid to rest in the cemetery, including several world champion coon dogs.
