Temples and their treasures embody the height of Eastern architecture and ancient cultures. As with churches, in a temple we admire the spiritual aspirations and achievements of mankind.

People have carefully designed places of worship throughout history to incorporate elements important to their culture and religion. Many temples are an important anthropological experience, with designs that reveal complex relationships between the sun, moon and seasons and which reflect a deep understanding of their environment.
