Montshire Museum of Science

The Montshire Museum of Science is located in Norwich, Vermont along the Connecticut River spanning 110-acres. It contains interactive science exhibits and an outdoor science park for visitors to enjoy. The museum prides itself on hands on activities for children and families.

The museum has over 60 exhibits relating to natural and physical sciences. The museum is completely self-guided and handicap accessible.

The Montshire is open daily from 10am-5pm and is closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for children 2-17, members and children younger than 2 are free.

The average time spent at the museum is three hours but guests should feel free to bring lunch or dinner for a picnic. The Montshire is located in a great location and is near many other museums and attractions. Also visit the museum store that has a large collection of science and nature related items.
