The Lumière brothers, Louis and Auguste, invented cinema, and for that they deserve their own museum, and a place forever in history. The museum charts their early experiments and goes a little way towards explaining how they did what they did beginning with the family's interest in photography and lighting. One of the highlights, of many, is seeing the hangar/ shed the Lumière used as a film lot. Their family home, where they grew up with their artist Dad is recreated in part as well.
In summer they're holding a film festival.
