North Narrabeen is a famous beach for surf contests. It has a powerful beach break and like most beaches north of Sydney it's better surfed left than right. The more advanced surfers you'll find here can get very competitive, so it can be hard to get waves. North Narrabeen has a sand bottom with water temperatures at a minimum of 16degrees. Best surfing on four to six foot waves.
