Sandy, bright white and 12 kilometres long, this beach is on Fueteventura’s pointed southwest peninsular benefits from currents which keep the aqua water clean and the winds ideal for the windier of the watersports.

There are a could of windsurfing schools if you still need to learn and there are two areas that welcome divers one aptly placed near the lighthouse, which also acts as a marker for the nudist/ naturist section of the beach, north is naturist, south isn’t.

The area is protected, both by being at the less popular, far, end of the island, and officially because of its unusual and rare Saladar Jandia plants which store salt in their lush leaves.
