Best local beach for families, this bay is a big generous horseshoe with flat water and imported sand. It’s not the most exciting local beach when it comes to water sports, there are still diving, sailing and boat trips on offer, but you still need to take care with the tide which comes in quickly.

The imported sand is pale gold and has kept its shape on the shore and shelf better than other natural beaches on the island.
