Enter the National Museum of Natural History to explore one of the world's finest collections of flora, fauna and geological artifacts . The museum has two million species here (half of which are fascinating little insects) displayed in gorgeous Victorian cabinets and the walls are elegantly depicted with mythological figures. Not only are native Irish animals featured but also minute and rare species from all over the globe.
The only problem with this museum is that they don't change their exhibits often, but they're diverse and engaging so worth at least one visit. Some of the exhibition titles are Irish Fauna, Mammals of the World, Steps in Evolution and the Mating Game.
Just like all of the National Museums in Ireland- the Natural History Museum is FREE to explore at your own fancy.
