Museum of the Revolution

Listed under Museums in Havana, Cuba.

This museum building, originally decked out by Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue, was the Cuban Presidential Palace between its construction in 1920 and the revolution in 1959 but now houses relics of the war. Out the back is the Granma, the yacht Castro used to enter Cuba, missiles like the ones from the Cuban missile crisis and a couple of revolutionary tanks. As well as the revolution the museum also has exhibits to the early revolution, of Cuba over occupiers, Spain, called the War of Independence (1868 - 1895).
