The Kennedy Space Center is NASA's official launching facility. It was here in 1969 that the astronauts left for the moon and launches from this center continue today. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is where you can see real NASA rockets and see exhibits on space exploration. There is also an IMAX Theater for space fans wanting big entertainment. To visit the actual Kennedy Space Center you must sign up for a KSC Tour. Buses stop at various sites around the center such as the International Space Center.
