Known as the father of contemporary country music, Hank Williams is a legend in his native Alabama. Nothing is so much a testament to this as the Hank Williams Museum. Displaying a range of items, from Hank’s 1952 blue Cadillac to glittering performance suits and song lyrics, this museum pays homage to one of the most prolific musicians of the 20th century, as well as showing the pride this state takes in the accomplishments of its citizens.
