I've always wondered what happened to all those pictures my friends and I drew as children Perhaps they have ended up at the Bad Art Museum. At this tastefully tacky museum, hundreds of really bad pieces of artwork are shown daily, displaying everything from acrylic paintings of cats to statues of wooden figures with drawn on faces.

The Museum of Bad Art was founded in the basement of a private home in 1993. It has now expanded in size and is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of bad art. Not only are the pictures themselves funny, but often the artwork is captioned by a humorous question or statement, adding to the hysterical presentation of the museum. The museum acquires the pieces of art in different varieties- sometimes the artists' hand them in themselves or they are found in the trash or at garage sales.
