Host to the ‘Blue Lagoon’ movies, this private island in the South Pacific is one of the most romantic retreats available in the world today. From jungle picnics to dinner for two on a candlelit platform just offshore, this is a unique lifetime experience. With 150 staff for a maximum of 14 couples, Turtle Island is nothing short of magical. Education is a favourite pastime for Turtle Island’s guests, the staff capable of offering information on coral reefs, Fijian culture, traditions and rituals that are said to maintain community, the use of fire as a symbol of life, demonstrate the medicinal use of trees, barks and plants, teach you to dive or windsurf.
