The Spa at County Hall

The location of Marriott County Hall hotel is unbeatable: Right on the Thames overlooking Big Ben. This glamorous but demure grand hotel has a beautifully presented, hushed and ambient spa area with friendly and welcoming staff. It's cool and classic but never pretentious. The facilities, treatments, staff and atmosphere here are all excellent – there’s a 25 metre pool in a day-lit room, and the gym is great. You get more than you'd expect for less than you'd expect to pay. I had a faultless day, was well informed and taken care of, and I didn't want to leave. Don’t miss a hugely decadent champagne tea in the Library after your treatment.
