Six Senses Spa

With a philosophy of ‘Intelligent Luxury’, the Soneva Fushi Resort must be one of the more exotic rejuvenation havens worldwide. A remote 100-acre island accessed by seaplane, 25 minutes from Male Airport, the legendary Six Senses spa finds it difficult to disappoint. The aim of the spa is ‘holistic wellness, rejuvenation and beauty treatment for balancing the senses’. Offering therapies of Reiki, Shiatsu and Swedish massage, among many others, you can watch reef sharks, turtles and manta rays swim under the glass floor-panels below the treatment tables as you receive your pampering, and the whole environmentally-friendly resort should be emission-free by 2010.
