This is a proper celebrity cult spa, and for a good reason – their seriously strict detox programmes kick-start your metabolism, clean out your digestive system, help you lose weight and improve your skin and hair. It’s certainly not a half-hearted approach and many clients find the experience to be quite cathartic, both physically and mentally. A diet of fresh fruit and vegetable juices and vegetable broths made from the spa’s home-grown produce is supported and supplemented with herbal treatments, inner and outer cleansing therapies and daily meditation and yoga. A vast range of alternative therapies is also offered at an extra cost, including reiki healing, reflexology, sacro-cranial massage and acupuncture, so there will always be something new to try – but the basic programme is a very logical one and produces real results, so you could simply sit in the sauna, enjoy a massage or revel in the peace of the surrounding nature reserve as well.
