Chewton Glen isn't a traditional spa where you could book in for a few days on your own and expect to come away thinner; the food is simply too good. It's a place for lavishing and pampering; if that's what you're after, you know where to go. I enjoyed every aspect of the spa experience here, not to mention the hotel, the food, the setting, the customer service... If you're looking for a country-house stay with spa treatments, this is an ideal choice. There is no extra charge for use of the spa facilities if you are a resident, as there is in some hotels. So you can spa all day and enjoy the service and atmosphere of a luxury hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant in the evening.
