Towering high above the mayhem of daily Bangkok in the embassy, shopping and business districts, the Banyan Tree Hotel is a favourite of business travellers. The 60 floors mean most views are phenomenal, stretching over Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River, with 4 restaurants, 3 rooftop hot tubs, open-air rooftop bar Vertigo and free shopping companion to explore Bangkok’s finest tailoring. There are 23 spa rooms, offering such therapies as loofah rubs, herbal wraps, aromatic massages and facials by hydration, exfoliation and cleansing. With flowers and lemongrass tea on arrival and impeccable service, the Banyan Tree in Bangkok, while not set in as peaceful surroundings as the other Banyan Tree resorts, is top draw.
