In a destination known for impressive wildlife, this snorkeling spot is one of the best. Part of the Galapagos marine sanctuary, the water is shallow, clear and calm against the backdrop of beautifully shaped hardened lava providing interesting tunnels and arches as well as an array of marine life which borders on the miraculous. To get to this spot you need a boat. Best time is between January and May when the sea is at its flattest.
