Over the last decade China's skiing industry has taken off. Ten years ago, it was suggested that only 200 people in China had skied. Today, that figure is well over a million. It has become the ultimate luxury for young, urban professionals and has become synonymous with modern living in China.

The resort of Yabuli is China's premier ski resort and the playground of wealthy Chinese businessmen. It is relatively unknown to westerners, making it the ideal place for a unique ski experience. It has the most challenging ski runs in northern China and the Chinese government has increased investment in the area in an effort to attract tourists on and off season.

There is a 3,000m ski run, which is the largest in the country. The beautiful scenery and mix between slopes for beginners and the more advanced make this an ideal skiing location for those based in the Far East.
