Les Gets is a pretty French ski resort. It's part of the Portes du Soleil Ski Area with access to 67 individual pistes, served by 209 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Les Gets itself (110km of pisted ski runs), you can get an extra lift pass which allows you to ski or snowboard in the other Portes du Soleil ski resorts: Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Montriond, Morzine, Saint Jean d'Aulps, Champéry, Les Crosets, Morgins and Torgon.

Geneva Airport is just an hours drive away, so in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

It's a really pretty resort - apres ski is low key - quite quiet but a some great restaurants and bars - really friendly - great for families and a relaxed ski experience.

We went March 2006 and had amazing snow all week - great destination that hasn't hit with the full force of the UK market!
