Snow cover is, as usual, most reliable above the timber line where the terrain falls into gullies between open snow fields both cross county and downhill skiers will enjoy. Snowboarders and freestylers have also been catered for with a purpose built area of bumps and rails.

Cerro Cathedral dominates the horizon like a Patagonian Mont Blanc and a lot of the action takes place on the mountain’s sides. In recent years the lift systems have been joined up and now a combined ticket exists to use the extended area covered by recent lift improvements and expansions.

Of all Argentina’s beautiful ski destinations, Bariloche provides the best blend of skiing terrain and the nightlife this country is famous for, as well as the night clubs, bars and restaurants, Bariloche has a casino.
