For some of the best Heli skiing, head out to Kamchatka in the far east of Siberia. The region was previously a military zone but since being opened up it expands to an area almost the size of France. The area is practically untouched and with 10% of the planet's land volcanoes situated in the region it will be a pulse-racing visit! The area is situated between the Pacific Ocean and the Okhotsk and has over 2,000km of coastline. It is also home to the world's largest population of brown bears, as well as wolves, arctic foxes, and reindeer, making it a good fit for nature enthusiasts with an adrenaline junkie edge. It has been a draw for Helsinki fanatics for the past few years thanks to its long, thrilling runs. A lot of the slopes run straight down to where shelf ice covers parts of the beaches on the dazzling coastline.
Heli Ski in Russia offer great deals on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They have experienced pilots who will drop you off in some truly sensational areas where the likelihood of you running into another skier is slim to none.
