Hintertux has the best glacier in Europe, which has a variety of runs on four faces of the Mountain. It is ideal for the intermediate upwards. It is a favourite for many of the national teams to do out of season training so it is very likely that you will travelling up the chairlift or T bar with the best racers in the world, but don’t let this put you off, the racers don’t take over the mountain and there is plenty of room for all.

Hintertux Resort

Hintertux is Austria’s only year round glacier ski resort and features steep, challenging slopes. During winter, the glacier runs feature 72,000m of descent. Good for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders, Hintertux features plenty of run variety and panoramic views.

Hintertux is known for its excellent ski schools and well equipped boarding pipe and half pipe. In addition to good skiing year round, Hintertux holds several annual music performances and festivals.
